Unique, Handcrafted Headpieces, Jewelry and Accessories
Every
bride has a vision of her wedding, and of the lifelong memories that
will be created there. Adornments by Sharon seeks out and uses the
finest new and vintage materials to assist in making that vision a
reality. Headpieces, jewelry and accessories are handcrafted with
individual brides in mind. We can create tiaras, headbands, bun wraps,
combs, hairpins and any other conceivable adornment a bride might want
to wear. By coming to Adornments by Sharon for a headpiece and
accessories, a client will get personal service, exquisite artistry and
something special for that special day.

had decided to wear my mother's wedding dress for my wedding, but I was
looking to find something that would make the "look" mine. My
mother provided me with her headpiece and veil and I took the headpiece
to Sharon with two requests: ditch the veil and make the headpiece
something that would fit my personality.
After discarding the wax flowers on
my mother's headpiece, and adding new seed pearls and crystals to the
piece, Sharon extended the soft look by changing the shape of the piece
so as to make it more like a hat, rather than a little crown. The result
was a piece that combined my mother's original piece with something that
was uniquely mine. The sparkle from the headpiece lights up my auburn
hair and draws people's eyes up from the gown to my head. I'm thrilled
with the look and can't wait to wear the piece for my August wedding.
The piece will be a treasure I will want to share with my own daughters

materials of the headpiece. She provided me with several options and
always provided to me new ideas or gentle suggestions. Her constant
availability to discuss the piece really impressed me -- she takes so
much pride in her work and wants the bride-to-be to feel beautiful and
well attended to. She was so easy to work with; it was like I had my own
designer! All of this, and I live over 1,000 miles away from Sharon's

wedding was planned for the fall in the outdoor setting of the North
Georgia Mountains. To reflect the beautiful color of the season, I chose
a soft gold dress, but was concerned about finding just the right
headpiece to accompany it. As soon as Sharon and I began discussing
materials and color, I knew she would be able to create the perfect
accessory for my dress. The result was a wide band of small ivory, silk
roses lightly tipped in gold and accented with small crystals to sparkle
